From Then Till Now

Since I, like my wife, tend to put off stuff and since I am a bit busy with my two jobs and getting ready for the baby,
I obviously haven’t kept up with the blogging about the pregnancy and
any major updates, so I am going to do a transition post that shows
some pictures of her belly, updates about doctor’s visits, the other
ultrasounds pictures including the 3d/4d ultrasound including the video ,which is also on my other blog-My Life. My Words, so here goes

November 1st – 12 weeks (about 3 months)

This was literally about 3-4 weeks after we found out we were pregnant. As the early post states, we didn’t even know we wereDSCN0261 pregnant until late October. That Saturday we had Gyspy Moon Ball and had a good time. We officially told everyone (we had already told most of the contra people) but that weekend we also mentioned about getting married.

Here’s the first ultra sound pictures that we got (we weren’t supposed to get one but they gave it to us anyway)baby's first picture

December 2007 – Missy and I went to the Thacker’s Family Reunion (Michael, wanted to let you know that you were will be born into a really big family. Missy and I have great Christmas. She is getting bigger but it’s still not as noticeable-and Missy can feel light movement.

For Michael–you are between 16-17 weeks. Your Mother is convinced that you are girl, I had a feeling that since she was so convinced that you might be a boy…guess who was right?

January 16th – 22 weeks We uspic3finally know what you are! We had a doctor’s visit on the 15th and he wanted us to have an ultrasound – so we scheduled on for the next day and found out what we were having! It’s going to be a boy!

February 16th- Missy is approaching her 26th week–she is starting to get big and we can both feel movement now, although Michael seems to stop moving when I put my hand on her belly. We have decided to get the 3d/4d ultra sound down and are making some progress on the baby’s room.

March 11th–30 weeks and 3 days! We just over two months to go and it still hasn’t completely set in…we had the 3d/4d ultrasound down today….here are the pictures.

This is the first “real” picture– the one where we get to see what our little boy looks like (and yes, that does sound weird to say that) but it’s slowly starting to sink in…Missy and I are going to be parents in just under 9 weeks….

Please check out the pages that contain the video of the ultrasound as well as all the 3d/4d ultra sound pics…

Dan & Melissa, the images of Micheal are breath taking. So amazing and precious. Congratulations you guys! I’m so excited for you and happy to have the blog insights since we are so far away and often disconnected. Even though I was very sick through my pregnancy, with your niece, it was still the most cherished time of my life, sound like it is for you too, Micheal is lucky to be loved so much already. Amelia loved the pictures of Micheal too. She adores babies and instead of picking out clothes and toys for her imaginary sibling she is now begging to get gifts for Micheal everywhere we go. Kinda a relief she’s bonding, in a way, to a real baby. She dug out an old used Winnie the Poo binky of hers from the bottom of our storage closet and was insisting we sent it to you. I convinced her I’d let her pick out a new one for you, in-case you decided to use one. She is definitely keeping her eye out for Poo stuff for your nursery, she will not forget let me tell ya. By the way are you guys decorating Classic or a diff, line of Poo? Is it OK to reply to your blog?
