Baby,

 

Well, yesterday we went to the doctor.  Mommy got an ultrasound done and we got to see you for the first time.  We weren’t too off with your age–we were thinking you were closer to 11-12 weeks, but you are about 10 and half weeks along.  So that means that you will be born April 22nd–instead of May 2nd.  Michael, your brother, was in the room when we were getting the ultrasound done.  He’s almost 17 months old not–so he’s a little too young to know what’s going on, but we talking to him about it as much as we can.  By the time you get here, he will be about 2 years old (just under 24 months) and hopefully he will have a little more understanding.

Also, we got to hear your heart beat–it about 168 beats per minute-which is healthy.  Everything is looking good.  Mommy and I are excited–you are really small, and we can only make out the shape of your head and what will become more of a body.  Mommy and I are guessing what you will be-a boy or a girl.  I have a feeling that you will be a boy, but it would be nice to have a girl–just remember, what ever you become, we will love you.

 

Other than that, your brother Michael, has more teeth coming in and so he wasn’t in the best of moods today.  After the doctor’s appt, we all went to Culver’s and all had Butterburger and Michael got a grilled cheese.  I treated myself to some ice cream and a cup of coffee.  Then we went shopping at Meijer and then came home and watched Alien Vs Monsters.  Anyway, I will pause for now…need to do some reading and some other writing.
